Job Title - Branch Manager - Sales & Marketing

About the Role

We are looking for a commercially driven and results-oriented Branch Manager to lead sales and marketing operations at a branch level within the steel piping and industrial materials distribution business. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving branch revenue, market share, customer relationships, and operational excellence, ensuring the branch becomes a high-performance unit aligned with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the branch strategy for sales, marketing and customer engagement in steel piping, tubes, fittings and related industrial materials.

Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets and branch profitability goals.

Lead and manage the branch sales & marketing team: recruit, train, mentor and motivate sales engineers, inside-sales, customer support and marketing staff.

Build and maintain strong relationships with end-users, contractors, EPC firms, distributors, stockists and other stakeholders within industrial, construction, oil & gas, or infrastructure sectors.

Identify new business opportunities, new market segments, and expansion initiatives; oversee quoting, negotiation, deal closure and contract lifecycle.

Collaborate with supply chain, logistics and procurement functions to ensure product availability, competitive pricing, timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.

Oversee branch marketing activities: promotions, events, product launches, trade shows, digital marketing and local marketing campaigns to enhance brand presence and lead generation.

Monitor branch operational performance: stock management, inventory turnover, collections, margin control, cost-management, and ensure efficient branch operations.

Prepare and present branch performance reports, sales forecasts, pipeline updates, competitor analysis and market insight to senior management.

Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety requirements, export/import regulations, and industry standards related to steel piping distribution.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial) or related field (MBA is a plus).

Minimum 58 years experience in sales & marketing roles in the steel piping, tubes & fittings or industrial materials distribution industry with at least 2 years in a leadership role at branch/territory level.

Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets, managing teams, and growing market share in the industrial materials or piping sector.

Strong technical knowledge of steel piping, tubes, fittings, valves, industrial materials or related products and understanding of their applications in construction, infrastructure or oil & gas sectors.

Excellent leadership, negotiation, presentation and communication skills; able to engage with customers at C-level and lead teams.

Commercial acumen: understanding of margin drivers, pricing strategies, cost control, and P&L performance.

Valid UAE driving licence preferred; willingness to travel within the branch territory as required.

Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office and comfortable preparing sales reports, forecasts and market-analysis deliverables.

Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
