We transform everyday mobility into memorable experiences with premium vehicles and service. It's in our DNA, blending Aussie spirit with German heritage – Das Ist Good. As part of the NRMA family, a trusted member-owned brand, we provide SIXT Star Service, ensuring every move is a memorable experience.

As the Branch Manager at Melbourne City, you'll take ownership of a busy city location, leading the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, strong commercial outcomes, and operational excellence.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys developing people, lifting performance, and creating a positive, high-performing culture. You'll be comfortable leading from the floor, supporting your team through busy periods, and balancing customer experience, sales, and operational priorities.

YOUR ROLE

Ready to roll up your sleeves and make things happen? Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a frontline team to deliver strong sales, service, and operational outcomes.
  • Drive branch sales targets, customer experience results, profitability, and operational KPIs.
  • Build a positive, accountable, and team-first culture.
  • Support Customer Experience Agents to deliver great service and identify sales opportunities.
  • Manage branch performance, including P&L, costs, productivity, and daily reporting.
  • Oversee fleet availability, vehicle presentation, refuelling, check-ins, and branch logistics.
  • Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally.
  • Optimise rosters to meet operational demand.
  • Maintain safety, compliance, and audit standards.
  • Take ownership of continuous improvement across the branch.

YOUR SKILLS

You’re a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You’ll bring:

  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience leading a team in a sales, service, retail, operations, or customer-focused environment.
  • Sales Mindset: Confidence driving performance, coaching sales behaviours, and working towards targets.
  • Coaching Style: A team-first approach with the ability to develop people, lift standards, and create accountability.
  • Operational Ownership: Strong organisation, time management and problem-solving skills in a busy operational environment.
  • Customer Focus: A commitment to delivering a high-quality customer experience and resolving issues effectively.
  • Commercial Awareness: Confidence working with KPIs, costs, productivity, and branch performance measures.
  • Adaptability: A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work autonomously.

Car rental experience is desirable, but not essential.

All successful applicants must complete a National Criminal History Check, hold a current full driver’s licence, and have full Australian working rights.
