We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Branch Manager to lead and grow the Agency Channel business within the Life Insurance sector. This role is ideal for professionals with strong team handling experience and a proven track record of driving business performance through agency networks.
The Branch Manager will be responsible for managing branch operations, leading on-roll sales teams, driving recruitment and activation of agents, and ensuring achievement of revenue and growth targets. The role requires a strong understanding of the Life Insurance industry, agency channel dynamics, and branch-level business development strategies.
The ideal candidate should be capable of building high-performing teams, maintaining strong relationships with advisors and customers, and driving consistent business growth while ensuring operational excellence and compliance standards.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall Agency Channel operations for the assigned branch
- Drive branch-level business growth through effective sales planning and execution
- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate insurance advisors and agency partners
- Manage and develop on-roll sales teams to ensure high productivity and target achievement
- Monitor branch performance metrics including premium collection, policy conversion, agent productivity, and retention
- Develop strategies to increase market penetration and expand the agency network
- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to improve team effectiveness
- Build strong relationships with advisors, customers, and key stakeholders to strengthen business opportunities
- Ensure adherence to compliance guidelines, operational policies, and quality standards
- Drive customer-centric practices to improve service quality and long-term retention
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities
- Maintain branch discipline, operational efficiency, and process compliance
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 5+ years of experience in the Life Insurance industry with strong exposure to the Agency Channel
- Proven experience in handling on-roll sales teams and managing branch operations
- Strong understanding of Life Insurance products, distribution channels, and sales processes
