Summary Description:
The Branch Manager is the single point of accountability for the Austin market. This role owns the full P&L and is responsible for driving revenue growth, operational execution, client satisfaction, and team performance.  This is not a maintenance management role. This is a business leadership role.  The right candidate will combine operational discipline with commercial instinct. They must be equally comfortable leading crews in the field, managing high-end client relationships, and holding their team accountable to performance metrics
Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
P&L Ownership & Financial Performance
- Own full branch P&L (Revenue, COGS, Gross Margin, SG&A, Contribution)
- Deliver against monthly, quarterly, and annual budget targets
- Drive margin improvement through labor efficiency, procurement discipline, and pricing execution
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility
Revenue Growth & Market Development
- Lead local sales efforts in partnership with Business Development
- Drive new business, enhancements, and install revenue
- Build relationships with Class A property managers, architects, and key decision-makers
- Ensure CRM pipeline is active, accurate, and converting
Operational Execution
- Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across all accounts
- Own scheduling, routing, and labor planning
- Drive adoption and discipline in Aspire (job costing, time coding, reporting)
- Implement SOPs and continuously improve branch processes
Team Leadership & Accountability
- Lead, coach, and develop Account Managers, Operations, and Field Teams
- Set clear expectations and hold team accountable to KPIs
- Drive a culture of ownership, urgency, and continuous improvement
- Conduct regular performance reviews and team check-ins
Client Experience & Retention
- Own top-tier client relationships, especially flagship accounts
- Ensure a high-touch, white-glove service experience
- Proactively address issues and protect client retention
- Lead client reviews and business updates
Data-Driven Management
- Lead data across all aspects of the business:
- Clean data in Aspire
- Operational reporting visibility
- CRM pipeline health
- Job costing and pricing discipline
- Use insights to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Thinks like an owner
- Leads with clarity and accountability
- Is comfortable making decisions and owning outcomes
- Balances people leadership with performance expectations
- Brings energy, urgency, and professionalism to the role
Level Requirements:
- 5+ years of leadership experience in multi-service operations (interiorscape, landscape, or similar)
- Proven P&L ownership experience ($1M+ preferred)
- Strong operational and financial acumen
- Experience managing teams across field and office environments
- Ability to lead through structure, systems, and accountability
