We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Branch Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Cranbrook branch. This role involves leading a team of Inside Sales Representatives to achieve ALC's sales and profitability targets, while also ensuring compliance with and improvement of sales processes and tools. The Branch Manager will be responsible for providing support in the development of new sales tools and systems, maintaining various sales reports, and contributing to the promotion of ALC’s quality and safety objectives.

Preparation of Sales Reports: You will be responsible for tracking sales performance and using this data to create detailed reports and analyses. You'll prepare monthly performance scorecards for each Account Executive and provide them with key insights and recommendations based on the data. You'll also play a role in the annual sales budgeting process, working closely with the ABOM, South BC.
Determines, reviews and increases prices: Manages and executes the company's Price Increase Plan. This includes determining new prices, organizing communications to customers, and developing strategies that align with our business goals. You'll also be a key resource for the sales team, helping them implement new pricing structures and policies.
People Leadership: To work with and support the Inside Sales Representatives at each location, including completing time sheets, performance management and career growth.
Participates in sales: You will develop and implement new programs and tools to improve our sales process, with a focus on following up on new leads (“cold-calls”), running targeted "blitz" campaigns in specific markets, and using tools like telemarketing and specialized software to expand our reach.
Manages contracts and prepares proposals and bids: This role focuses on the end-to-end management of customer contracts. You will track contract lists, expiration dates, and renewals, and then communicate this key information to our sales team. You will also be a support for our Account Executives, helping them prepare proposals and bids and ensuring that we meet all our commitments to customers.
Process compliance and improvement: Monitors the sales team to ensure they follow company processes. This includes training and coaching Account Executives on tools like the CRM. You'll work with your team and other departments to improve sales workflows, analyze performance, and propose solutions to any issues.
Experience: 2 years experience in industrial field
Diploma: College Diploma in administration or in a related field of specialization
Training: Quality system (ISO), safety
Knowledge: ERP (Oracle), Sales Force or other CRM and BI would be an asset), solid knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Powerpoint), advanced written and oral communication skills in English.
Experience leading a team in a unionized environment would be considered an asset.
