As Branch Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our local success, orchestrating daily operations to meet and exceed our sales and margin targets. You will lead two (2) dedicated teams, promoting exceptional customer service, rigorous inventory management, and impeccable compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Your leadership will be essential to inspiring and developing our talent, while optimizing our logistics resources and continuously improving our processes. Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations: oversee retail sales, security, warehousing, and distribution
Develop branch sales and growth: Contribute to the development and execution of sales and merchandising plans, coordinate promotional activities, and manage internal sales and profit margins.
Customer service management: Provide professional and consistent customer service for all inquiries (products, pricing, technical information), support the sales force, and collaborate with external sales to ensure order accuracy and delivery tracking.
Inventory management: Oversee product inventory, dynamic receipts and deployments, and conduct physical inventories.
Ensure operational excellence: Monitor ERP reports, perform daily cash reconciliation, and supervise employee training.
Manage expenses: Control branch operating costs and work with corporate accounts receivable.
Comply with standards: Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for medical gases and medical devices.
Personnel management: Manage and motivate diverse teams assigned to counter sales, warehouse, drivers, and customer service. Supervise employee training. Take initiatives to collaborate with our partners to schedule and organize monthly product training sessions.
Continuous improvement: You will participate in improving ways of doing things while respecting our processes, be on the lookout for opportunities to be efficient, and take corrective action when necessary.
Ability to interact with different departments: Manage and respond to questions from our sales teams (account managers), operations, or other internal stakeholders.

Required qualifications:
- Education: College diploma or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven management or leadership experience, as well as experience in branch operations and sales.
- At least ten (10) years of experience in the sale and/or distribution of gas and welding products or similar industrial products.
- Experience in the sale of industrial gases and welding products and demonstrated experience with welding processes and products.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, 4 to 6 years
of experience required.
- Strong customer focus and ability to negotiate effectively.
- Analytical mind and vision focused on continuous improvement
- Previous experience with ERP and Salesforce (an asset)
Desired qualifications:
- Planning: Ability to identify needs, allocate resources effectively, and establish action plans.
- Problem solving: Identify, assess, and resolve problems with a detailed approach.
- Customer service: Exceptional commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency with Google: In-depth knowledge of Google applications (Docs, Sheets, Gmail).
- Mathematical skills: Ability to perform calculations. Ability to read and interpret branch results in order to make recommendations for strategies to be implemented.
