Due to internal promotion we have an opportunity for an experienced Branch or Service Manager to join the AE Smith team located in our Brisbane branch to lead our Mechanical & Electrical divisions.

Your role at AE Smith

The Branch Manager plays a pivotal role in leading the service delivery operations, supporting the Regional Manager (QLD), and guiding Service Delivery Managers across our Brisbane branch. Your primary focus will be ensuring that all services are delivered safely on schedule, and within budget while driving business growth and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day contract service operations, ensuring customer assets are serviced and maintained to AE Smith quality standards.
  • Oversee commercial cash management, P&L accountability, and monthly reporting.
  • Drive business growth by sourcing and securing new contracts to meet revenue and EBIT targets.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Service Delivery Managers, ensuring resource management aligns with business goals.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and mentor staff, ensuring role clarity, performance development, and fostering a high performing, engaged team.
  • Lead and promote AE Smith's Zero Harm safety culture and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies.

Must haves

  • Certificate III in Air conditioning & Refrigeration or Electrical
  • 10+ years within Service Management, Account Management or Operations within HVAC contracting environments
  • Experience directly managing a team of 3-5 direct reports & 30+ indirect reports
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cash flow management, and business planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in multi-disciplinary service delivery.
