The Branch Launch Manager (BLM) is responsible for planning and executing the launch of Grameen America’s Los Angeles branch and ensuring its operational readiness. The BLM must be familiar with neighborhoods and communities across the Greater Los Angeles area. Key responsibilities include conducting market surveys, identifying priority operating areas, building and leading a strong local team, and overseeing outreach, recruitment, and onboarding of new program members. The BLM will also manage daily branch operations and the loan portfolio, ensure field staff perform effectively, achieve targets for enrolling clients who qualify for services, and foster a culture of service excellence.
The BLM will participate in the Branch Manager Academy, -a four- to six-month immersive training program designed to accelerate the onboarding, assimilation, and learning of Grameen America’s operations and the field roles.
The Branch Launch Manager must be physically present in the community and/or branch office three to five days per week, depending on branch requirements. This expectation includes field-based community work. On-site requirements may change at the organization’s discretion. Based on GAI’s business priorities and staffing needs, GAI reserves the right to reassign the employee to another branch within a 30- to 40-mile radius.
The Branch Launch Manager will build strategic relationships throughout the community to recruit and onboard new members. The BLM will also ensure that the branch delivers strong customer service and a positive member experience that supports long-term membership growth and retention.
