Cutting Edge Fabrication is a leading metal fabrication company producing medium to large-complex metal weldments for various industries such as transportation, defense, and aerospace. We have a new owner and new management team and are looking to grow upon the foundation that has been built over the past three decades. Cutting Edge Fabrication seeks a highly motivated individual with press brake expertise. You will produce metal parts and components, meeting production schedules while maintaining quality and profitability. Responsibilities include problem-solving, accurate press brake forming, bump forming, bending, and rolling metal components to print specifications.

In this job, you will be responsible for the following:

• Set up brake press jobs.
• Edit and prove out programs.
• Produce parts to print specifications.
• Inspect parts using protractors, squares, tape measure, caliper, height gauges, etc.
• Participate in continuous improvement culture, including lean initiatives.
• Keep the department organized and clean for a safe working environment.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements

• Experience working with various metals (steel, stainless, aluminum, etc.).
• Shop math knowledge.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Able to read a tape measure and use other measuring devices.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience.
• Must have good attendance and be on time.
• Embrace and demonstrate company values.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
