Brake Press Operator – Class B
Location: American Products
Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-1:30am
Pay: 19-20/hr + $2/hr shift differential

About the Role
We’re hiring a Class B Brake Press Operator to support our metal fabrication team. In this role, you’ll operate brake press equipment to bend, shape, and form metal parts according to production specifications. This position is ideal for someone with basic mechanical aptitude who wants to grow their skills and advance within the department.

What You’ll Do
• Operate brake press machines to bend and form metal parts
• Load/unload materials and ensure proper alignment
• Inspect parts for accuracy, quality, and specification compliance
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report issues
• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE
• Document production details and material usage
• Collaborate with team members to meet goals and deadlines

What You Need
Education
• High School Diploma or GED preferred (not required)
Experience & Knowledge
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Understanding of brake press operations preferred
• Ability to read blueprints/work orders (training provided)
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic math skills helpful but not required
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow
