Rate: £20 per hour

Brake Press Operator (Amada)

Are you a precision-driven operator who knows their way around an Amada? We are looking for a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our customers team.

We currently manage a diverse workflow of approximately 400 different part blanks Your role will be to take these blanks and fold them to exact specifications, ensuring high-quality output across a wide variety of components.

The Role

• Setting and operating Amada Brake Presses
• Working with a high volume of varied parts (400+ active designs).
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and fold sequences.
• Conducting first-off inspections and ensuring dimensional accuracy.
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Requirements

• Proven track record operating Brake Presses (Amada preferred).
• Ability to select correct tooling and handle varied material gauges.
• While we don't strictly require a full Programmer, the ability to program at the machine or make offline adjustments is a significant advantage and will be reflected in the package.
• With 400 different parts in rotation, your ability to switch between setups efficiently is key.

• Hours: From 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. Friday 8.00am to 1.00pm
• Addtional: Weekend over time maybe available
