Required (R) or Desired/Preferred (D)
(R) Valid Drivers License
(R) Read, speak and write English
(D) High School Diploma or GED
(D) At least two years’ experience driving a Box Truck
(R) Must be able to obtain/maintain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (med card)
Telephone, cellular phone, hand truck, computer keyboard, trucks, forklift
Drive truck 7-10 hours daily, frequent use of feet on foot controls, climbing in and out of truck and trailer frequently,
frequent bending and lifting, and jobsite unloading in a variety of weather conditions.
In an eight/ ten hour workday, employee must be able to stand: 7+ hours
In an eight/ten hour workday, employee must be able to sit: 7+ hours
In an eight/ ten hour workday, employee must be able to walk: 4 - 6 hours
In an eight/ten hour workday, employee must be able to drive: 7+ hours
Employee must be able to use upper extremities for repetitive motions:
Simple grasping, Pushing/Pulling, Fine Manipulation
Continuous (67% - 100% of day), Frequent (34% - 66% of day), Occasional (0% - 33% of day)
Continuous: Bend (at waist), Squat (at knees), Use Feet (foot controls)
Frequent: Climb, Reach, Kneel, Twist
Occasional: Crawl
In an eight/ ten hour workday, employee must be able to lift/carry:
( ) 10 lbs. maximum and occasionally carry small objects: Sedentary work
( ) 20 lbs. maximum; frequently lift/carry up to 10 lbs. Light work
( ) 50 lbs. maximum; frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs.: Medium work
