About the role:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Boutique Visual Merchandiser. This role is far more than just a job; it is an opportunity to become a custodian of the iconic Chanel image, reinforcing the brand through captivating boutique window displays and shaping the way our clients experience our brand. Reporting to the Senior Visual Merchandiser Manager and Head of Boutique, you will play a crucial role in collaborating closely with retail operations, communication, and marketing teams to ensure the high execution and consistency of Chanel's image across all merchandise presentations throughout the boutiques.
Job Mission
To act as a guardian of the CHANEL image across the country
To ensure the FASHION and IMAGE message of CHANEL are conveyed and maintained through Visual Merchandising and window display.
To remain constantly updated with the latest International and regional display guidelines, ensure high execution and consistency of brand’s image in all areas related to merchandise presentation throughout the boutiques.
What impact you can create at Chanel
You will be instrumental and play an integral role implementing Visual Merchandising policies and ensuring the Visual Merchandising standards are well maintained to the boutique needs and global guidelines.
Expedite the selling process for Fashion Advisor’s by being readily available to change mannequins, pull and replenish items from selling floor, make substitutions on displays when product is needed for clients, etc.
Be the point of contact for the store when VM Lead is on other projects, during corporate holidays and on weekends
Support Operations team with product prep work for floor moves and collection launches, including P Touching display items
Update digital photo files for VM maintenance purposes as changes are made
Keep documentation of window items current (SKU, price, size, etc.) for selling team’s reference
Assist in implementation of events, Sale, seasonal installs, corporate events and other business driving initiatives in the Boutique
Communicate effectively with boutique selling team and management
Work independently with minimal supervision

What you will bring
Minimum 3- 5 years relevant experience in-store visual merchandising
Merchandising experience within the retail industry, luxury retail is plus but not a must
Strong knowledge of fashion, style and current visual merchandising trends
Outgoing and energetic personality with a creative eye
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to enhance the visibility of Chanel fashion collections and contribute to the unique client experience at Chanel Flair with flair and agility
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and fluency in both spoken/written English
Ability to lift equipments i.e manneqeuins
A flexible schedule with the ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays depening on the fashion launch
Heart of House: Requires in-store presence to facilitate the opening and closing of the boutique; the receiving of inventory; shipping of product to support sales to ensure optimal client service.
