Job Description

Required availability: Flexible hours from Monday through Sunday. We are looking for Boutique Fitness Instructors who are motivated to share their technical knowledge with our members in a fun group setting. You will be encouraging and motivating clients to help them achieve their fitness goals through group exercise classes.

We need exuberant fitness professionals who are able to provide informative instruction while motivating and leading guests in group exercise classes. You’ll provide a fun, safe and content-relevant experience for your specific class.

  • Technical Knowledge:You’ve got the badge to prove your technical knowledge about your designated studio fitness class.
  • Motivated & Driven: You take initiative. You identify opportunities and issues, and proactively acts and follows through on work activities to resolve them.

As a Boutique Fitness Instructor, a typical day might include the following:

  • Arriving to the club 10 - 15 minutes prior to the class beginning
  • “Checking-in” at the front desk
  • Chatting with members getting ready to participate in class (being receptive to music suggestions, being aware of clients who have injuries and require modification etc.)
  • Welcoming members to your class, introducing yourself and getting them excited!
  • Conduct class with enthusiasm and motivation
  • Remain 10 - 15 minutes after the class to connect with members and obtain feedback

To land this role you need to have:

  • Additional certifications may be required to qualify for a pay level increase.
  • Certifications or workshops relating to fitness and health
  • 1+ years of experience as a studio fitness instructor is advantageous and preferred.
  • All team members must have current CPR/First Aid certification prior to start date and must be maintained throughout employment
  • A recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work
