Position: BOP Technician
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Contract Details: Full-time, Permanent
Our client, a leading oil and gas company in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a skilled and experienced BOP Technician to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position with excellent benefits and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of blowout preventers (BOP) and associated equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure BOPs are functioning properly and in compliance with safety regulations
- Assist in the installation and testing of new BOP equipment
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve technical issues
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on BOPs
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with BOPs in the oil and gas industry
- Strong understanding of BOP equipment and systems
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Salary: AED 3,000 + Food, Accommodation & Transportation
