The Side Boom Operator will be responsible for operating side boom equipment for lifting, moving, and positioning pipes and other heavy materials during construction activities. This role is critical for ensuring safe and efficient pipeline and related construction operations.
Operate side boom equipment to lift and align pipes and other heavy materials safely.
Assist in pipe laying and pipeline construction projects.
Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
Follow safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and equipment damage.
Coordinate with ground crew and other operators to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Maintain proper documentation of equipment usage and inspections.
Education: Not specified.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in side boom operations, preferably within the oil & gas industry.
License/Certification:
Valid Qatar Driving License.
Valid QID (Qatar ID).
Strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
Excellent knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
Physically fit to handle heavy-duty operations.
