The Boom Truck Operator will be responsible for safely operating a telescopic boom truck with up to 10-ton capacity within an Oil & Gas plant environment. The role requires strict adherence to HSE standards, proper handling of lifting equipment, and the ability to perform lifting operations efficiently. Candidates must have extensive hands-on experience and valid certifications to meet plant safety requirements.
Operate Boom Truck (Telescopic Boom Truck Mounted Crane) up to 10T capacity.
Conduct lifting, loading, and unloading tasks safely and in accordance with site procedures.
Follow rigging signals and work closely with riggers and lifting supervisors.
Conduct pre-operation inspections and ensure the equipment is in proper working condition.
Maintain daily logbooks and comply with all HSE and plant safety protocols.
Perform tasks inside Oil & Gas plant facilities as assigned.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Boom Truck Operator.
Third Party Certificate is mandatory.
Valid Qatari Driving License (preference for candidates with Qatar Gas Plant experience).
Valid third-party certification for Boom Truck operations.
Certificate of competency or other relevant documented qualifications.
Strong knowledge of rigging signals, HSE compliance, and safety standards.
Basic proficiency in reading and writing English.
Age between 25-50 years.
