Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. This position is part-time, 2 days a week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial report writing, accounts payable, and accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks.

*Responsibilities*

  • Manage all aspects of the company's financial accounts
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Perform journal entries and reconciliations
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Process payroll accurately and timely

*Requirements*

  • Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting software like Xero and QuickBooks
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of budgeting processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience:

  • QuickBooks: 5 years (Required)
  • Bookkeeping: 5 years (Required)
  • Financial statement preparation: 3 years (Required)
  • Organizational skills: 5 years (Required)
