You will be involved in looking after the financial records for a diverse portfolio of small business clients. We are looking for someone who truly understands the mechanics of bookkeeping, rather than just data entry into accounting software. That said - you will be familiar with accounting software. Software Savvy: Strong, demonstrable experience using cloud accounting platforms, for example: Xero , QuickBooks and FreeAgent . Background: Experience working within an accountancy practice OR managing the accounts for a busy small/family business. You understand the unique ecosystem of small business finance, and can recognise the patterns and cycles in different sectors. Communication: The successful candidate must possess a high standard of written and spoken English to ensure clear, precise communication with UK-based clients, stakeholders and colleagues. Our client is open to both PAYE (c £35k - 45k FTE DOE) and freelance (c £25 ph) options. Candidates must be based in the UK and have the existing right to work in the UK at the time of application.
