The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and supporting overall accounting operations for Singapore-based clients. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Accounts Processing: Handle invoicing, billing, collections, and expense tracking
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare basic financial reports and assist in month-end and year-end closing
  • Compliance Support: Ensure adherence to Singapore financial regulations and accounting standards
  • Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and clients regarding financial matters and documentation

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required)
  • Experience: 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably supporting Singapore clients
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks), MS Excel, and financial systems
  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Language: Proficient in English (written and verbal)
