Aspen Contracting is growing and adding to our accounting team. We are looking for a detail-driven, reliable Bookkeeper who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and follow-through.

This role supports day-to-day financial operations and requires someone who can manage numbers, stay organized, and maintain consistency in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records
• Process accounts receivable and payable
• Review and verify entries across customer, vendor, and general ledgers
• Perform internal checks to ensure accuracy in financial data
• Maintain organized financial documentation and reporting
• Support deposits, invoicing, and general accounting functions

What We’re Looking For

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles, including accounts payable and receivable
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage financial figures and records accurately
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting/software systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
• Ability to collect, analyze, and summarize financial data into a usable format
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
• Ability to handle pressure and maintain performance during high-volume periods
