We are working with a forward thinking and continually growing Accountancy Practice, looking for a Bookkeeper Accountant to process client accounts in the Preston and surrounding area.
Hours: 37 hrs a week - 8.30am - 4.30pm (Fri finish at 4pm) - 37hrs (Flex to suit / Part time available)
Location: Office-based role, with client-site options for experienced candidates
Salary: £28-32k negotiable
Benefits: Pension, Holidays 24.5 + Bank Holidays

Opportunity of Bookkeeper
This is a role for someone who simply loves Bookkeeping, someone who knows the challenge of deadlines, can update clients’ records with confidence and can hit the ground running with some initial training and guidance.
Do you have good overall digital skills and have worked with XERO, Free agent or Sage?
As a Bookkeeper, you’ll be experienced, personable, customer driven and a people person who enjoys the responsibility of managing clients’ accounts and portfolio for accounts processing services.
Duties & Responsibilities of a Bookkeeper:
·Responsibility of managing a small portfolio of clients for all bookkeeping, and accounts processing services.
·Preparation of accounts to trial balance
·Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and submissions
·Bank reconciliations, Purchase ledger and Sales Ledger
Experience required of a Bookkeeper:
·Experience in a similar Bookkeeping / Accounts role
·Qualified by experience or AAT Part Qual /Qualified
·Ability to work solely with minimum supervision
·A personable, customer driven, people person
·Have a positive can-do attitude
·Have a passion to go the extra mile to support client queries
