Job Description

A privately held investment and asset management group is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support a multi-entity financial environment. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting operations, and ensuring organized, reliable reporting across related entities.

This position requires a high level of discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a structured but evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple related entities
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and complete routine account reconciliations
• Oversee accounts payable, expense tracking, and cash activity
• Maintain detailed financial records and supporting documentation
• Assist with coordination of tax preparation and external accounting relationships
• Support improvements in accounting workflows, organization, and internal processes
• Ensure financial data is consistently accurate and audit-ready

Qualifications

• 5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
• Experience supporting multiple entities or complex financial structures
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Preferred
• Highly organized with strong reconciliation skills
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially
