Who You Are:

The Bookings Operator plays a central role in the Video Business Unit’s Occasional Use (OU) operations in the Americas. The role combines front-line customer service with technical coordination, capacity management, and cross-team collaboration to ensure seamless satellite service delivery.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide professional customer support in a timely manner for all Video Business Unit Occasional Use requests, maximizing dedicated available satellite capacity.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with a Global Occasional Use team to meet the needs of international clients across all Eutelsat fleet and coverages.
  • Perform analysis to propose the most suitable satellite and beam combinations for each Customer request.
  • Contribute to the success of the Global Occasional Use team from creating customer requests through to service billing.
  • Coordinate Occasional Use Capacity slots with Asset Management teams to ensure service continuity and verify that service pricing policies are applied in accordance with specific contract terms.
  • Book and follow up on Demo & Test services requested by Account Managers (Video).
  • Use Salesforce to validate the generation of Quotes for OU services (Managed Services, Single-Usage, and rate cards).
  • Coordinate with Customer Service, Control Center and Planning teams to improve Customer satisfaction.
  • Produce ad-hoc reporting on OU business needs, drawing from multiple data sources and tools.
  • Contribute to an international follow-the-sun shift between France and Mexico

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluent English - C1 level desired. French could be a plus.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office / Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
  • Customer-service oriented with a commitment to delivering world-class service.
  • Stress-resistant, empathetic, resilient, and a fast learner.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills; ability to foster teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Process-oriented with an analytical mindset.
