Your Role:
EMD Electronics is seeking Technicians for its MEGASYS® team at Austin, TX. Technicians work on
systems and maintain supply of chemicals and gases to a semiconductor manufacturing environment
that makes the chips used in electronic devices such as Smart Phones, LED's, and Flat Screen TV's.
This is a challenging, hands-on, rewarding job opportunity for people who want to join a growing
business.
Technicians will be expected to work 12-hour shifts, as well as on a rotational day to night / night to
day work schedule.
Technicians will be responsible for the safe operation of assigned chemical and/or gas distribution
systems, with duties including:
Handling and change-out of gas, chemical, slurry containers
Gas and chemical equipment troubleshooting and preventative/repair maintenance
Computer operations to support job functions and customer needs
Support of quality systems
Primary communication point to customer
Physical Attributes:
75% of walking throughout the facility (5-6 miles per day)
Climbing of ladders up to 12-foot-tall (utilizing fall protection)
Basic lifting (up to 40lbs)
Bending of the knees and overhead reaching

Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of experience in maintenance or equipment technician
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical degree or relevant technical training
Proficient with MS Office Suite

Prior experience working in a mechanical or electronic environment
Experience with BCD/PCD and gas related equipment
Experience with gas and/or chemical delivery systems in ultra-high purity operation
Strong technical aptitude
Excellent communication skills
