• To assist the Senior Boilerman in managing the maintenance department effectively and contributing positively to the profitability of the factory operation
• To run and monitor the daily shift boiler operation and to ensure the steam production is running smoothly and meet the quantity standard specifications to the plant's requirement
• To execute all working instructions which are received from Senior Boilerman or Head of Department or Production Manager
• To run and monitor the daily shift boiler house operation as per the production planning schedule
• To monitor all the parameters, conduct testing and record in the Boiler Log Sheet and Water Analysis Report
• To ensure that daily water samples are sent to QC laboratory for quantity analysis and checking
• To issue the job requisitions form in case of a breakdown or failure of equipment and machinery to the Maintenance department
• To carry out routine maintenance of the boiler equipment as per the Boiler SOPs
• To ensure that cleanliness of the plant meets the hygiene standards. To avoid any fuel oil spillage on the floor and minimize fuel oil losses
• To conduct shift briefing to the next shift boilerman in charge the condition of the boiler and actions that need to be taken
• To continuously coach and develop the people who report to him
• To ensure proper monitoring and recording on utility and chemical consumption
• To keep the floor clean, dry and free from fuel oil spillage
• To keep the plant equipment and machinery clean and in working condition
• To report to the Senior Boilerman or Head of Department about any machinery breakdown
• Ensure that both of the ft trap and drain are completely free of oil.

Job Requirement

• Possess at least SPM or Certificate in Engineering field
• Minimum Boilerman (Grade 2) certification
• Minimum 1 year experience on boiler operation, boiler maintenance and water treatment for boiler consumption
• Proficiency in computers, preferably SAP plant maintenance module
• Possess good understanding and knowledgeable in instrumentation control and installation
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
