The Role:

MCA Engineering is seeking a qualified Boilermaker to join our team in a full-time role based in Parkes. This hands-on position involves the fabrication, assembly, repair and maintenance of mine site equipment within our workshop.

Responsibilities:

• Fabrication and assembly of mine site equipment, metal components and structures
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and specifications
• Carry out repairs and maintenance on plant, equipment and structural assets
• Identify defects and implement appropriate repair solutions
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment
• Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet production deadlines

About You:

• Cert III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade
• Current drivers licence and white card
• Experience in fabrication and repair of heavy equipment or mining equipment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Are available to go to a mine site when required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol testing.
