MMT Recruitment is working with a well-established WA-based engineering and fabrication business to recruit an experienced Fabricator for their modern workshop in Canning Vale.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected local company known for quality workmanship, smart engineering, and well-run projects—not shortcuts. You’ll be working on new builds, custom fabrication, and varied projects, not repetitive patch-up work.
Clean, modern, state-of-the-art fabrication workshop
New builds and custom fabrication (not just repairs)
Variety across structures, components, modifications and one-off projects
Day shift only – predictable Perth hours
Supportive, respectful team environment (no egos)
Competitive pay based on experience
Optional Saturday overtime available
Fabricate, cut, weld and assemble steel components
MIG, TIG and stick welding depending on the job
Read and work from engineering drawings
Deliver high-quality fabrication across small runs and larger builds
Maintain safe work practices and pride in workmanship
Trade-qualified Fabricator / Boilermaker (Cert III Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent)
Proven experience in fabrication and welding
Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Skilled in MIG welding (TIG and stick highly regarded)
Reliable, detail-oriented and takes pride in quality work
Works well in a team and gets on with the job
