Support Vehicles Australia (SVA) is a leading design and manufacturing company specializing in the creation of custom heavy equipment for key clients, primarily in the mining industry across Western Australia. We are proud to deliver high-quality, bespoke solutions and are looking for a dedicated FABRICATOR / BOILERMAKER to join our dynamic workshop team in Bassendean.

Key Responsibilities As a Fabricator/Boilermaker, you will be involved in building new equipment and working on the assembly of parts and components. The ideal candidate will work independently, produce high-quality work within set timeframes, and meet production demands with attention to detail and efficiency.

Key Skills & Attributes:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in interpreting technical drawings
• A passion for learning, following instructions, and adhering to processes
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Excellent time management skills
• A proactive attitude toward safety, quality, and cleanliness
• Experience in the manufacture and refurbishment of service trucks and/or watercarts will be highly regarded

Desirable Qualifications:

• Fabrication Trade Certificate (essential for this role)
• Confined Space Entry / Gas Test Atmosphere (must be obtained before employment)
• Working at Heights (must be obtained before employment)
• Forklift License
• Overhead Crane / Dogging certification
• Elevated Working Platform certification
• Skills Assessment/Weld Test to be completed at interview.

The role offers an average of 50 hours per week, with an annual salary potential of approximately $130,000 ++.
