UGL are currently looking for Boilermaker (Mobile Plant Equipment) to join our Team

As a Boilermaker with UGL, you will produce high‑quality fabricated metal products, structures, frames, plate assemblies, vessels, and pipework. You will work with ferrous and non‑ferrous metals and be confident using a range of welding, thermal cutting and mechanical tools.

This role also includes supporting maintenance and refurbishment activities on mobile plant equipment and performing structural repairs on trailers and similar assets.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 year experience in a similar role on a construction or industrial site
  • Boilermaker trade certificate
  • Experience in mobile plant equipment maintenance and refurbishment
  • Construction White Card
  • Current full driver’s licence
  • Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and weld procedures
  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket, telehandler ticket, confined space entry ticket, working at heights ticket, operator tickets/licenses (desirable)
