Technician Responsibilities:
- Complete service and repair assignments efficiently, safely, and correctly to pass quality inspections.
- Comply with company safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate directly with service adviser's regarding the status of the repair work.
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques.
- Examines damaged vehicle and efficiently plan repair process.
- Work and communicate with others on vehicle repair status.
- Perform quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind.
- Make decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost and cycle time.
- Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle and fenders.
- Participate in all required safety meetings.
- File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.
- Direct the work of an apprentice in the performance of tasks when needed, i.e., unusual problems or questions and explain procedures to assistant.

QualificationsTechnician

Qualifications:
- Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Working knowledge of shop equipment.
- Basic Heavy and Medium Duty Truck knowledge.
- Maintain sufficient personally owned tools.
- Ability to work independently.
- Detail oriented and quality driven.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, physical exam, and drug screen.
Experience in one or all of the following areas:
- 2 Year Truck/Auto Body Experience
- Tech School Certification
- Vo-Tech Graduate
