TheraPeds Partners is a Colorado based, therapist-owned and operated organization. We partner with our local schools to provide Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) services to PreK–12 students nationwide. This is a full-time, on-site role as a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) serving a school located in Redwood City, CA.

The Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.

• Position Details
• Full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week
• 2026–2027 school year ( August 2026 through May 2027)
• Serving students in grades 6–12
• Fully on-site position
• Primary Responsibilities
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify behavioral needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Review and interpret behavioral data to guide intervention strategies and recommendations
• Provide behavioral consultation and coaching to teachers, administrators, and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Partner with families to promote consistency between school and home environments
• Monitor student progress and adjust behavioral supports based on data and outcomes

• Competitive compensation ranging from $70–$90+ per hour (approximately $2,625–$3,375+ per week, based on a full-time schedule)

Requirements

Qualifications

• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related field
• Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and evidence-based behavioral interventions
• Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
• Experience working with children
• Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in use of technology
• Fingerprint background clearance
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications

Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
