What is this job all about?
In this role, you are a key player in individuals with disabilities journey towards a life of independence. The BCBA will utilize their knowledge and observation skills to develop and implement plans that address problem behaviors or assist in skills acquisition.
That’s nice, but what will I actually be doing?
In this highly specialized role, you will get to know and observe clients of all ages and with various diagnoses while working towards achieving their target behaviors and acquiring valuable skills. You will also enjoy working with a team of educated professionals who share your passion for making an impact in others’ lives. As a BCBA you will share your expertise with members of your team through the supervision of ABA Specialists, RBTs, and other professionals.

The Arc of the Ozarks was formed and incorporated as a not-for-profit organization. Our mission is to support individuals with disabilities in directing their own lives as a valued members of the community.
In 1959, a small group of parents recognized the need for services for children with developmental disabilities. A support network was established for these children and their families, resulting in the 1963-64 establishment of The Arc.
Today, The Arc serves individuals with a variety of disabilities. Services include residential, education, training, day habilitation, therapeutic recreation, advocacy, autism services, employment, psychological counseling - generally helping these individuals live, learn and work in our community.
The Arc is affiliated with the Arc of the U.S. and our programs are accredited by CARF.
