Job Description

We are looking for a certified BO Chargeman to take ownership of high-voltage safety and operations on shift. You will attend to service requests, coordinate maintenance work, and ensure all high-voltage activities comply with strict safety standards and operational SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

• High-Voltage Operations: Operate and maintain 33kV switchgears and related equipment safely. Be familiar with and operate to the Scope of Work/SLAs/KPIs.
• Maintenance & Monitoring: Coordinate and spot-check supplier/service provider work to ensure contractual obligations are met. Ensure the site is maintained for maximum efficiency.
• Safety & HSE: Ensure a safe working environment and full compliance with HSE standards. Proficiently undertake Job Hazards Analysis (JHA) before any work begins.
• Emergency Response: Assist with critical out-of-hours issues and participate as a key team member in emergency responses.
• Team Support: Provide backup support for superiors during absences. Liaise with client representatives to address problems and enhance performance.
• Documentation: Clearly document and communicate all client expectations and technical issues to the FM team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Mandatory: Valid 33kV Chargeman BO Certificate from Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission).
• Education: Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Operational Engineering.
• Experience: 5–8 years of relevant experience in engineering or a critical environment, with 3–4 years in Tier III (or equivalent) data centre or critical facility M&E operations.
• Skills: Hands-on experience with CRAC, chillers, PDU, UPS, and switchgear operations. Excellent people skills for interacting with clients and vendors.
