What You Will Do
We are seeking an experienced BMS Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale Building Management System (BMS) projects within the rapidly growing data centre sector. This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex BMS and building automation projects across the data centre industry.
- Manage project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
- Take full ownership of project financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, margin management, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with design consultants, main contractors, and end clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage procurement activities, resource planning, logistics, and project delivery across multiple sites.
- Provide clear and consistent project updates to customers and internal leadership teams.
- Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for future business growth.
What We Look For
Required
- Minimum of 5 years' project management experience within the construction, building services, BMS, or automation industry.
- Proven experience delivering complex, multi-disciplinary construction or MEP projects.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, project controls, and health & safety legislation.
- Demonstrated financial management experience, including project P&L responsibility, forecasting, and cost control.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Dublin and the wider Dublin region as required.
Preferred
- Experience managing BMS or Building Automation projects, with knowledge of one or more of the following platforms:
- Johnson Controls Metasys
- EasyIO
- Tridium Niagara
- Trend
- Siemens
- Schneider Electric
- Previous experience delivering large-scale projects valued between €2M and €4M.
- Experience working within mission-critical environments such as data centres, healthcare, pharmaceutical, government, or other regulated sectors.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification.
- Degree, diploma, or professional qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Services, or a related discipline.
