· Maintain oversight of live projects and work closely with assigned project managers to coordinate the timely delivery of design, installation, commissioning and handover activities.
· Ensure designed BMS/EPMS systems meet applicable SLA, KPI, client and contractual requirements.
· Identify design deviations, scope gaps, technical risks, commercial risks and delivery risks early, and escalate through the appropriate governance channels.
· Support procurement and commercial teams with technical evaluation of vendor proposals, clarifications, exclusions, risks, quotations and change requests.
Commissioning, acceptance and handover
· Lead or support technical reviews of factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT) and integrated systems testing (IST) activities for BMS/EPMS scope.
· Ensure commissioning scripts validate control sequences, alarm routing, failover behaviour, resilience, redundancy, metering accuracy, graphics, trend data, user permissions and integrations with other operational platforms.
· Witness critical BMS/EPMS commissioning activities where required and ensure defects are tracked, prioritised and closed before operational handover.
· Ensure commissioning records, completion certificates and other acceptance evidence are signed, complete and provided in the required format.
· Ensure complete and accurate handover documentation is provided, including as-built drawings, network diagrams, panel drawings, controller schedules, software backups, points lists, cause-and-effect matrices, alarm schedules, metering schedules, user access lists, O&M manuals, test records, commissioning certificates and training records.
· Ensure BMS/EPMS asset and configuration information is suitable for ongoing maintenance, lifecycle planning, cyber security review and operational support.
Operational Resilience, Live-Site Control, OT Cyber Security & Support
· Ensure all system changes, particularly those in live environments, follow CyrusOne change management processes and receive authorisation through the correct channels.
· Ensure live-site works are planned and executed in accordance with approved methods of procedure (MOPs), risk assessment and method statements (RAMS), change control requirements and operational risk assessments.
· Act as a Level 3 technical escalation point for BMS/EPMS incidents, defects, performance issues and recurring alarms across live operational sites.
· Support root cause analysis for BMS/EPMS-related incidents, including control failures, communication failures, alarm failures, data loss, incorrect readings, integration issues and system availability issues.
· Identify issues that may lead to unnecessary or premature failure of services, minimising risk, disruption and inconvenience to CyrusOne, clients and tenants.
· Develop corrective action plans and ensure lessons learned are incorporated into standards, designs, maintenance plans and future project delivery.
· Work closely with IT, Cyber Security and Operations to ensure BMS/EPMS platforms align with CyrusOne IT, OT and cyber security strategies.
· Ensure BMS/EPMS platforms are designed, deployed and maintained in line with OT cyber security requirements such as user access control, logging, backups, patching, vulnerability management and incident response.
· Ensure vendors comply with CyrusOne cyber security, access control, change management and documentation requirements.
· Support lifecycle planning for BMS/EPMS hardware, software, operating systems, firmware, licences, certificates, backups and disaster recovery requirements.
