
Control Systems Engineer - Dublin / Eastern Region
Real people Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced BMS Control Systems Engineer to join a growing team. This role may also be suitable for an Electrician, Refrigeration Technician, or someone with a similar industrial background. The role is predominantly based in Dublin and the wider Leinster region, with occasional travel across Ireland.
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Leinster Region (primarily Dublin, with occasional travel across Ireland)
Salary: Negotiable, based on experience
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 (some flexibility required)
Key Responsibilities:
Leading BMS installations and commissioning
Upgrading BMS Controllers
Performing BMS maintenance (PPM) on both new and existing customer sites
Conducting calibrations and service calls
Monitoring energy usage and implementing energy-saving modifications

Requirements:
Electrical qualification
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with BMS systems such as Trend, Cylon, Distech, Tridium, or other industrial BMS products
Knowledge of HVAC plant systems is desirable
Strong customer communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Full clean driving license (a company vehicle will be provided)
