Soundmouse is the global standard for music cue sheet management and reporting, trusted by 25,000+ broadcast and music professionals worldwide, including the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, NBC, the NFL, RTL, Sky, Sony, Universal Pictures, and Warner Bros. Discovery. Our proprietary, industry-leading audio recognition technology identifies every music cue in broadcast content and submits compliant cue sheets to 40+ collecting societies globally, cutting admin time by 83%. We've been doing this since 2001.

In June 2026, BMI, the world's leading performance rights organization, acquired Soundmouse from Orfium. We operate independently as part of the BMI family and are at an inflection point: established infrastructure, new backing, and a clear next chapter with global reach to build.

Role

Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the team, ensuring productivity, quality, and timely delivery of work. The role includes assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing guidance and coaching to team members, resolving operational issues, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. A Team Lead also serves as the primary point of communication between the team and management, supports process improvements, prepares performance and production reports, and fosters a collaborative and positive work environment to achieve organizational goals.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop team members while fostering a high-performing and collaborative work environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and management.
• Strong organizational, time management, and task prioritization skills to effectively manage workloads, monitor team performance, and ensure operational excellence.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to resolve issues, make informed decisions, and adapt to changing business requirements.
• Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and consistently achieving business objectives.

Qualifications

• Fully/Partially completed bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification related IT and/or Business Management
• Good communication skills in English language (Verbal / Written)
• Sound knowledge in Google Sheets/Docs and other Computer Fundamentals
• Ability to take challenges and handle pressure with a positive mind
• Effective Decision-making skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work on tight deadlines and work extra hours when required
• Positive attitude and team management skills
• Ability to work according to foreign calendars
