Throughout the program you will develop foundational career skills in problem solving, critical thinking, innovation and team building.

BMD graduates are offered a career path with adequate support systems in place to encourage growth and individual contributions. We offer practical exposure to the construction industry, performance plans designed for growth, and access to business leaders for mentoring.

What to expect:

  • kick off with a three-day all expenses paid conference on the Gold Coast with your peers

  • experience exciting hands-on and in person learning every six months to build relationships and network with your peers from across the country
  • receive mentoring from BMD’s Board of Directors, executive management team and emerging leaders to build your leadership qualities and help you progress your career

What you’ll do:

As a Graduate with BMD, you'll gain exposure to a range of disciplines that contribute to the successful delivery of major infrastructure and construction projects. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll develop practical skills, build industry knowledge and play an active role in supporting project outcomes.

  • assist with planning, coordination and day-to-day project activities to support quality, safety, environmental and operational objectives
  • contribute to project administration, reporting, cost tracking, procurement and documentation processes
  • support project teams in identifying opportunities, solving problems and driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders while learning how successful projects are delivered
  • participate in training, development and mentoring opportunities designed to accelerate your professional growth

Your motivation will energise our collaborative team across the delivery of diverse projects in Western Australia.

Who we’re looking for:

BMD welcomes graduates from a variety of disciplines who are passionate about building successful careers in the construction and infrastructure industry.

We're looking for motivated, adaptable and team-oriented individuals who are eager to learn, take initiative and contribute to meaningful projects from day one.

To be successful, you will:
