Act as an operational decision-maker for P1/P2 incidents, ensuring clear ownership, strong handovers, and timely resolution across regions.
Drive problem management and root-cause follow-up to reduce repeat incidents and improve long-term stability.
Validate priority for submitted operational and change items in assigned domains.
Approve changes for owned platform areas in line with governance and enterprise standards.
Ensure emergency fixes, production changes, and maintenance activities follow required change management controls and documentation standards.
Engineering Team Leadership & Delivery Governance
Manage and coordinate a globally distributed engineering team working in a shared operating model across regions and platforms.
Support the team in balancing Run work via Kanban and Change delivery via Scrum in a 2-week sprint cadence.
Protect engineering capacity while ensuring operational responsiveness and delivery against agreed service commitments.
Participate in daily operational governance, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, quarterly planning, and ad hoc prioritization sessions.
Ensure open operational work is properly managed through regional transitions and formal end-of-rotation handovers.
Platform Improvement, Security & Compliance
Drive initiatives that improve monitoring, automation, supportability, observability, and platform recovery capabilities.
Partner with Security and Compliance stakeholders to ensure platforms remain aligned with required controls, remediation activities, and audit expectations.
Support vulnerability remediation prioritization and backlog management in partnership with engineering and platform leadership.
Maintain a strong operational governance mindset, ensuring documentation, evidence, approvals, and records are complete and audit-ready.
