The Electromechanics role is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring smooth production operations. The position requires skills in troubleshooting, machine adjustments, and interpreting technical drawings. Flexibility for shift work, weekend duties, and on-call support is essential.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE
• Preventive Maintenance: Execute maintenance tasks according to the supervisor’s plan and the instructions provided in the work order. Ensure the duration of tasks aligns with the work order – Software Platform utilization
• Emergency Maintenance: Perform maintenance as needed to support production requirements, adhering to established procedures.
• Corrective Maintenance: Carry out tasks as planned by the supervisor, following the instructions outlined in the work order and any verbal directives.
• Format Changes and Other Tasks: Execute tasks according to the supervisor’s plan, the instructions detailed in the work order, and any verbal instructions.
EDUCATION, LANGUAGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance. Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance procedures.
• Proficiency in interpreting mechanical blueprints, including exploded views and construction drawings. Familiarity with pneumatic systems and basic knowledge of hydraulics.
• Experience operating tools such as lathes, milling machines, and similar equipment.
• Ability to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting. Capable of executing machinery adjustments, format changes, and general equipment maintenance.
• Adherence to work orders and verbal instructions as required by supervisors.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Availability to work rotating shifts and adjust schedules as needed.
Commitment to weekend on-call duties (approximately one weekend every five weeks). Available to work in the weekend job if requested
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to ensuring equipment reliability and performance.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL OR FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
• Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the facility
