Hayward Holdings Inc. (NYSE "HAYW") is the largest manufacturer of residential swimming pool equipment in the world, with a significant presence in the commercial pool market that is continuously growing. Hayward designs, manufactures, and markets a full line of residential and commercial pool and spa equipment including pumps, filters, heating, cleaners, salt chlorinators, automation, lighting, safety, flow control and energy solutions at our company owned facilities. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward also has facilities in Tennessee, Arizona, and Rhode Island as well as Canada, Spain, France, Australia, and China.  This position is based in Clemmons, NC. This position is 3rd shift.

Provide flexible operations support to the blow molding department including operation of blow molding machinery and associated finishing equipment, material handling (forklift), work order coordination, mold/machine setup, safety, quality, and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform the duties of the blow mold machine operator when a regular operator is absent.
• Insure that all rework on the shift is completed and returned to the warehouse staging area. Complete all required paperwork as necessary.
• Perform designated shift assignments as required-degrease machines, clean up grinder rooms, empty trash, empty dust bags from cyclones, take regrind/colorant inventory, keep mold racks organized, etc.
• Make mold changes and setups on blow molding machines with assistance from process technicians, blow mold machine operators and/or setup personnel. Develop methods to minimize changeover times.
• Develop and maintain good working relations with other departments, co-workers, and all others, which must interact with the department.
• Insure good housekeeping.
• Participate in Total Quality Management and Continuous Improvement programs as needed to advance departmental and company goals.
• Understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the process technician/team leader, shift supervisor, or member of management.

Qualifications

• Must possess good leadership skills, be a self-starter and have good math skills.
• Good communication skills are needed with the ability to train other personnel.
• Good attendance, reliability and dependability are a must.
• Must be capable of becoming fork lift certified.
• Previous experience mold-setup, material handling and work cell coordination a plus.

Education and Experience:

High school graduate, GED or higher is preferred. At least one year of work experience is desired, working in a manufacturing environment with emphasis on blow molding, assembly, finish packaging, work order coordination and quality verification. Must be experienced driving a forklift, including slip sheet attachment and must be forklift certified via Hayward forklift licensing program.
