Title: Bloomberg Finance Instructor

We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic instructor of our new Business Lab Powered By Bloomberg who will also develop and teach high school courses utilizing the Bloomberg terminal. This course will introduce students to financial markets, investment strategies, economic analysis, and data-driven decision-making using Bloomberg's industry leading software. The instructor will be responsible for designing the curriculum, delivering engaging lessons, and preparing students for Bloomberg's Market Concepts ( BMC) certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and write a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with educational standards and integrates Bloomberg terminals functions into lessons on financial markets, equities, fixed income, commodities, and economic indicators.
• Provide hands-on instruction to help students navigate and analyze real-time financial data.
• Manage and organize all aspects of the newly created Bloomberg Lab
• Design projects in case studies that stimulate real world financial decision making.
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.
• Foster critical thinking, financial literacy, and career readiness skills among students.
• Stay updated on financial trends and integrate current market developments into instruction.
• Responsible for preparing other teachers in the building

Key Skills/Attributes:

• Bachelor's degree in finance economics business or related field (Master's preferred)
• Must have experience with Bloomberg terminal or other financial data platforms
• Teaching experience preferred but industry professionals with a passion for education are encouraged to apply
• Strong curriculum development communication and analytical skills
• Expertise in Bloomberg Market Concepts BMC certification experience and financial markets banking or investment analysis
• Familiarity with high school education standards and instructional design

Other:

A background and fingerprint report will be conducted and submitted to State authorities as required by law for all personnel working within a school environment. Must be willing to undergo Catholic Diocese VIRTUS certification
