First Shift (United States of America)Design, develop, implement, and sustain a comprehensive blood donor recruitment program to support the collection of blood products for Roswell Park patients. This role provides strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure a consistent and reliable blood supply.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead and coordinate the activities of Clinical Liaison staff within the Apheresis Department to support donor recruitment and collection operations.
-Drive donor acquisition and retention strategies to maximize participation in the blood donor program.
-Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns and public relations initiatives to increase awareness and engagement.
-Represent the organization through public speaking, community outreach, and stakeholder engagement efforts.
-Establish and cultivate partnerships with corporations, community organizations, and key stakeholders to expand donor networks.
-Monitor and assess organizational blood product utilization to identify needs and trends.
-Develop and implement programs to ensure adequate blood product supply aligned with patient care demands.
-Contribute to maintaining a stable and sufficient on-site blood product inventory through strategic planning and coordination.
Starting salary is $78,126
Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in public relations, marketing, sales or other related field, including one (1) year experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity; or
2. Associate's degree and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time experience in public relations, marketing, sales or other related field, including one (1) year experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity.
NOTE:
Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
