About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Blending Operator to join our team in Maroota.
In this hands-on role, you'll operate our blending plant to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications. You'll monitor equipment, load and blend raw materials, and help keep production running safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Working as part of a close-knit team, you'll play an important role in maintaining product quality, meeting production targets and ensuring our site remains safe and environmentally responsible.
What You Will Be Doing
• Operate blending equipment in line with standard operating procedures.
• Load, blend and dispatch finished products to meet production schedules.
• Start up, monitor, adjust and shut down production equipment safely.
• Monitor plant performance and identify any abnormal operating conditions.
• Make process adjustments within authorised limits to maintain product quality and efficiency.
• Move raw materials and finished products using a forklift and other plant equipment.
• Report equipment faults, safety hazards and quality issues to the Site Manager or Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Participate in safety, quality and environmental initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
• Follow all workplace health and safety, environmental and quality procedures.
About You
You will enjoy hands-on work, be mechanically minded and take pride in working safely while producing quality products.
To be successful, you will have:
• A current Forklift Licence.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, agriculture or warehousing (preferred but not essential).
• Basic computer skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to identify and report safety or quality issues.
• A strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental responsibility.
• The ability to work in a physically active manufacturing environment.
