
Objective:
The Mechanical Technician plays a key role in the
maintenance, and repair of wind turbines at site level. This includes
inspecting, diagnosing, and resolving mechanical and hydraulic issues, as well
as completing scheduled maintenance and ensuring all components operate safely
and efficiently. The role involves fitting and assembling metal parts and
subassemblies to fabricate or repair turbine equipment, supporting both
mechanical and electrical completions, and maintaining compliance with industry
and site standards. Success in this position requires a strong technical
aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both
independently and as part of a team to ensure the reliable performance of the
wind turbines throughout their lifecycle.
Job Tasks and Duties:
Experience required:
AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma including
at least two years employment experience or minimum 3 years employment
experience may substitute for qualification.
Full-Time minimum 38 hours per week
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 + super
