Job Purpose:

To ensure safe and efficient operations of the road loading gantry, including placement and removal of tank trucks (TTs), quality and quantity assurance during loading, calibration of TTs and meters, and coordination with control room and tank farm officers. The role also ensures compliance with IQCM, SOPs, and safety standard

1. Tank Truck Loading Operations
   • Ensure safe placement of TTs at designated bays.
   • Conduct pre-loading checks and monitor gantry line-ups.
   • Supervise loading operations and manage exceptions.
   • Perform product sampling and quality checks as per IQCM and SOPs.
2. Vapour Recovery Unit Operations
   • Operate vapour recovery systems safely and efficiently.
3. TT Calibration Tower Operations
   • Operate TT calibration facilities and conduct random performance checks.
4. Meter Monitoring
   • Monitor gantry meter performance and initiate verification and maintenance.
   • Analyze meter data to ensure accurate product delivery.
5. Product Loss Control
   • Implement controls to minimize product losses and prevent leakage or wastage.
6. Documentation & Record Keeping
   • Maintain records for gantry equipment, vapour recovery systems, and calibration facilities.
   • Ensure proper housekeeping and implement work permit systems.
7. Facility Maintenance
   • Ensure upkeep and scheduled maintenance of gantry equipment and associated systems.
8. Emergency Response
   • Coordinate with control room, tank farm, and operations teams during emergencies.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
• Hands-on experience in POL loading/unloading, vapour recovery systems, TT calibration, and pump operations.
