Qualcomm is seeking experienced talents to join the Business Development team in China to drive the corporate level collaborations and business strategy execution with leading Cloud Service Providers(CSPs) and AI Industry customers/partners, to manage overall account strategy, develop and orchestrate the corporate level partnership with CSPs, LLM players, Internet Service Providers, AI service software and hardware developers including IDC Server OEMs or System Integrators.

The ideal candidates will have a strong track record in growing a business, expanding industry and ecosystem impact, familiarity and senior level connection with China CSPs, LLM players, AI service developers including unicorns. The candidates will have out-of-the-box thinking capability to create and implement new business models and partnership. The candidates will be working with those internet companies to explore potential business opportunities like growing AI Agent devices volume(XR, Hearable, Wearable), strengthening AI models & AI Agents engagement with LLM&AI ISVs, and exploring potential opportunities on data center.

The candidates will work with China leadership team, product marketing, business unit, sales and customer engineering teams at Qualcomm, expand Qualcomm AI industry impact with ecosystem partners, to advocate and drive new Qualcomm technologies into our customers, to match customer opportunities with product requirements, and untimely drive adoptions of Qualcomm products and solutions. The candidates will be responsible for gathering requirements and specifications with above AI partners and working with customers on solution vision, use case and success metrics.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of overall industry experience; with relevant CSP account Sales and Business Development experience. AI native product management, AI leads sourcing and ASIC Silicon related technical R&D are a big plus and a priority.
  • 5+ Years VC industry Coverage Manager/Venture Partner (AI direction), with strong AI industry coverage, C-level connection and hands on end-to-end project landing experiences are a big plus and a priority.
  • 5+ years of business development or sales management experience in either the semiconductor or cloud industry. Experienced working with cloud companies and IDC customers is a plus.
  • Strong industry connection in Edge Compute, AI, PC, AR/VR, Cloud Services, and IOT ecosystem, hands on to manage AI native hardware project & business models will be a plus
  • Able to possess solid and systematic AI industry research and landscape analysis with clear frameworks, rigorous logic, accurate and creditable data source, and in-depth commercial strategic analytics. Able to independently deliver high-quality, comprehensive industry reports, trend reviews and project insight summaries.
  • Able to work across multi-functions/multi-individuals to achieve desired results.
  • Able to travel extensively both domestically and internationally.
  • Deep understanding of China Cloud Service Providers business model and AI service strategy, product solutions and procurement strategy. Strong product management experience and technical background.
  • Excellent communication skills – must be able to speak fluently in Mandarin and English.
  • Ability to evolve and develop the overall sales strategy and model for cloud services
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with customers and partners at the decision-making level.
  • Highly trusted individual who maintains and expects high standards for themselves and their team, putting compliance with business conduct guidelines at the center of doing business.
  • Consultative sales experience especially in technology adoption of cloud services in the infrastructure space.
  • Strong knowledge of the hosting services and cloud services segment in the China market.
  • Strategic thinker with a sales mentality, as well as analytical ability and a proven ability to execute strategy.
  • Contract MOU negotiation and deal forecasting experience.
