Job Description

Responsible for developing and manage projects (organizing, planning, directing, and controlling) for the different locations of Stellantis Mexico, so that projects shall delivered on time, within budget, with quality, safety and respect the environment, additionally the engineer must ensure that the projects are executed with the corporate standards and comply with the normativity of the location they carried out.

The WPE joining specialist engineer must be able to work in teams, with the customer plants, suppliers and partners of his same department always looking the successful of the project /activity; managing daily tactical issues with VPE BIW Supervisor and manager, identifying and implement process improvements while working with own teams and support staff until conclusion the project.

STRATEGIC:

Supplier administration (teamwork) according with their scope, develop investment and flexibility studies, timings, to implement BIW joining specialist area according with the engineering architecture for new models or special projects.

Develop program & project metrics and communicate status as appropriate to senior leadership and relevant upper management

• Control and administration of the work required in time, quality and funds according with the estimates for payments of bills, make sure that WCT and the quality system MQAS is established, documented, implemented and maintained according to VPE system.
• Conceptual and basic preparation review, design, specifications, work and purchase volumes requirements required for the execution of the BIW joining specialist, assist the manufacture of suppliers in development BIW process.
• Elaboration of kaizens, MPI, PFJ, LL and CLQ.
• Elaboration of workbooks.
• Manage the logistic materials reports.
• Manage the mechanized outputs reports.
• Manage the NX software drawings.
• Manag6e the KPI´s reports for the joining specialist line.
• Manage the PFMEA´s reports for the joining specialist line.

Qualifications

Experience:

• 8 years of minimum experience in this position or similar preferably in the automotive industry knowledge and management the program of MS office, project, design in cad and team center, BIW joining specialist engineering, projects administration such as joining specialist system, English 90%, engineering evaluation, project implementation in automotive industry and metal mechanics.
• Education: bachelor’s degree on mechatronics engineer, mechanical engineer, industrial engineer or similar.
• Software: Microsoft office, AutoCAD, Teamcenter, NX, pentasap
• Advanced level of English
