Provides set-up, cleaning, break-down, and general customer service for YMCA Birthday Parties.
Provides a quality experience to children and parents that focuses on the YMCA values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Set-up tables, chairs, and decorate reserved space based on party theme.
Set-up and serve food and cake.
Clean/clear off tables, sweep floors, dispose of all trash in YMCA dumpster.
Put away tables, chairs, and all decorations to their designated spaces within the YMCA.
Engage all children and parents on arrival, introduce yourself, and maintain a happy disposition and accommodating attitude the entire party.
Attend any and all trainings and meetings as required by Program Coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to provide transportation to and from YMCA and be on time for all parties, meetings, and trainings.
At least 16 years of age
CPR, First Aid, AED certifications within 30 days of hire date is preferred.
Previous experience with diverse populations. Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with people from different backgrounds.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to lift up to 20lbs, bend, stand, sit, walk, crawl for extended periods of time.
